Full Scale Mock-up

A 4 x 6 meter test piece of the exterior inflatable skin has been ordered.

Tectoniks will begin production of a mock-up for the inflatable exterior skin of the Arts Alliance Mobile Performance Venue in April. The mock-up includes two sections of the large inflatable hexagons and a translucent inflated window panel. Together these will form the exterior surfaces of the Mobile Venue. The final pattern and colors are still currently under design. The results of schematic design will be completed in late may, and presented at a press conference in June 2008.

The project is moving forward rapidly with Romboll Whitby-Bird as engineers and ESS consulting on portable stage issues and constructability.
