Various Projects

 

We approach each new project as a set of challenges in need of a unique solution.

 

Since the creation of Various Architects in January of 2008 we have created a unique portfolio of projects that range from a small and personal residence in Stabekk to large public art museums in Oslo and Wroclaw. We have done intensive research on environmentally friendly building projects with our zero-carbon and zero net-energy scheme for Re:Vision Dallas and the dynamic energy producing Schiphol Sound Barrier. Our award winning mobile projects (MPV and Yorkshire) have pushed the boundaries of inflatable technologies and captured the imagination of magazines and publications worldwide. The wide range of our projects show that we excell in solving complex problems on any scale with the help of our collaborators in the Various Architects Network.

 

Our background, and previous 12 years of experience at Snøhetta, working on a wide range of international projects from 70 m2 art installations in sweden to 450,000 m2 landmark buildings in the arabian desert give the partners at Various Architects a solid foundation for further development regardless of project size or budget. Having grown with our former office into larger and larger projects we decided to start Various Architects as a way to return to small and medium scale projects that would allow us the opportunity to delve further into the details of our work.
